There are tons of projects at EAST. One of them is our project called The Veterans Memorial. There
is one specific purpose or goal in our project. That is to show our appreciation towards the veterans who have
died in Operation Iraqi Freedom war. Basically we want to recognize them by telling their age, their rank, where they
are from, and how they died. What we are planning to do is we will design a memorial that will have the outline of Iraq
and Arkansas. The memorial will also say Operation Iraqi Freedom along the bottom with the names on the bottom as well.
Then we will go to google or any other search network that will help us find out about Arkansan Veterans that had
died for us in the war so far. After we have found all the names we will start categorizing them in units. By building
an effective web site, we hope other people will receive our message and travel out to a larger audience of people interested
in similar issues.
